Kal Penn and Sean Astin guest star as scientists who confirm the super asymmetry theory put forth by Sheldon and Amy. The only problem in going forward: these other scientists would prefer to do so without one central part of the equation: Amy.

At least two classic villains from the old Batman universe ascend dramatically in tonight’s new installment of this prequel series. One is Penguin, who has fashioned himself the hero of a Gotham City that’s become dangerously isolated. The other is Selina, who, now that her paralysis has been cured by Poison Ivy, is through pussyfooting around. Or she’s just starting, as her quest for vengeance makes her more fully embrace her emerging alter ego as Catwoman.

On tonight’s new episode, Chidi sees the time knife. I have no idea what that means, but that’s the title of this entry – and it takes place at an IHOP. But their guesses are absurdly detached from reality. Lady Gaga, guesses one panelist. One of the Kardashians, guesses another. Elton John, guesses a third. No,

The fall of Saddam Hussein is well known to many, though young adults may find the story unfamiliar and surprising. But the rise of that Iraqi dictator, who ruled that country as President from 1979 until 2003, is just as dramatic – and instructive. Check local listings.

SERIES PREMIERE: This is not a recommendation. This new Syfy series is set in the 1980s, which allows for some enjoyable period music played on the soundtrack and as part of the natural atmosphere. It’s about a school for misfits and outcasts with special talents and powers, and is based on the 2014 graphic novel series by Rick Remender (who’s one of the executive producers and overseers here) and his several artist co-creators. Time and sensitivities have resulted in some changes fo

As our unfortunate friend Preacher illustrates, the best graphic novels don’t always turn into the best TV shows. So it’s a pleasure to report that the new kid on this block could turn out to be a killer...
