Russell Crowe is the guest host, and Margo Price is the musical guest. I think that’s the way you spell her name – let me check. Yep. The Price is right.

SEASON FINALE: Season 2 of this very clever, delightfully acted Amazon comedy series arrives today acting more like a sequel than a continuation – but that’s not a complaint, because it works beautifully. Last season was about an American named Rob (Rob Delaney) who hooked up with an Irishwoman named Sharon (Sharon Horgan) during a business trip to London – and accidentally got her pregnant, after which he returned to London, hooked up some more, and eventually got married. Now

Tonight’s showing of this 1939 classic movie is followed at 10 p.m. ET by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: 50 Years of Magic, an old but still enjoyable and informative special about the history and legacy of the L. Frank Baum stories. What a nice double feature, and a wonderful Wizard of Oz way to start the weekend.

After the latest primary results, we need a comic reaction. Bill Maher is here to provide it – as are tonight’s guests, who include Kathy Griffin and author Max Brooks (pictured), Mel Brooks’ son.

This new documentary may be the vinyl word on why the once-huge Tower Records ended up collapsing. I used to shop a lot at the Times Square store in New York, so it’s a bit nostalgic. But not emotional – not so long as my favorite record store in the universe, Amoeba Records in Los Angeles, manages to stay afloat.

Tonight’s new episode deals with reality vs. virtual reality. On the one hand, Sheldon tries the latest virtual-reality system – which seems redundant, because he’s always in his own little world anyway. But in the real world, in an actual camping trip with Leonard and the girls, Sheldon reveals a secret of Leonard’s which makes the trip even more awkward than it might have been otherwise.

SERIES FINALE: Fifteen seasons, and it comes down to this. As part of this two-hour last lap for American Idol, many previous winners and prominent also-rans are scheduled to return to perform live, including Carrie Underwood, Fantasia, Katharine McPhee, and Kelly Clarkson, who got very emotional when visiting, and singing, earlier this season. But then it’s time to crown the final idol – and last night, when finalists Trent Harmon and La’Porsha Renae sang for their votes, it t

SEASON PREMIERE: This CBS series is back for a new season, and maybe they’ve sharpened the writing enough during the hiatus to make it more watchable. Thomas Lennon and Matthew Perry star as Felix and Oscar, respectively, and tonight’s plot involves the duo listening surreptitiously to their arguing neighbors, and trying to intervene to smooth things over. At least the episode’s title is amusing: “All about Eavesdropping.” Maybe that’s a good omen…
