SERIES FINALE: This episode of Harry's Law — in which Harry's ex-husband is found dead — may be called "Onward and Upward," but the show isn't going anywhere after tonight. As previously reported, NBC has cancelled the David E. Kelley law drama, despite the fact that it was one of the network's few ratings hits. You can get the full scoop about the show's demise in Ed Bark's excellent report HERE. Who knows — perhaps some other outlet that cares more about rating

I'm not sure if this qualifies as TV Worth Watching, since I haven't yet seen the two-hour program. But the premise that mermaids do exist, based on the testimony of scientists who not only swear they've found the remains of a sea creature with human characteristics, but insist that the government is hiding proof of their existence, is so off-the-wall that it might be worth watching just for sheer amusement. At the very least it provides a new conspiracy theory to bat around at tomorrow's family

This weeks episode, "The Other Woman," brings a surprise female visitor to Don Draper, and considering his past it might not be a good surprise. Whomever it is, she'll probably be a force with which to be reckoned. The women of Mad Men — Peggy, Joan and Megan — are transforming into powerhouses this year — just as a whole generation of women did in the Sixties.

The Hallmark Channel is offering a 12-hour Mary Tyler Moore Show marathon Saturday. While you won't be seeing the "Chuckles Bites the Dust," you can several of the show's other memorable episodes, and catch glimpses of notable guest stars — including Jerry Van Dyke (1 p.m. ET), Henry Winkler (2:30 p.m. ET), Bruce Boxleitner (4 p.m. ET) and Penny Marshall (9:30 p.m. ET) — before they were notable. The biggest highlight, though, may be the 8 p.m. ET episode, which features a guest

During a weekend when war movies are plentiful, this offering's a sure standout: After filming the brilliant Days of Heaven in 1978, director Terrence Malick took a break from moviemaking — for 20 years. He returned, in 1998, with this war film, directing the movie and writing his own adaptation of the novel by James Jones, who also was the author of From Here to Eternity. Film buffs know Malick left an entire other movie-length narrative on the cutting-room floor, but what he retaine

As part of its "War Heroes Weekend" of programming, AMC premieres Clint Eastwood's 2006 adaptation of Flags of Our Fathers, the non-fiction book by James Bradley and Ron Powers that tells the stories of the five Marines and Navy corpsman who raised the flag on Iwo Jima, and the effects the event had on their lives. The film — told from an American point of view — is followed at 11 p.m. ET by Letters from Iwo Jima, Eastwood's equally-compelling 2006 film told from the Japane

FX paid a reported $25-$30 million for the cable re-broadcast rights to James Cameron's 2009 epic revolving around a former marine who's sent to a distant planet to establish a human settlement among the indigenous humanoid species, so you can expect to see it pop up on the cabler's programming schedule quite regularly. Still, on a holiday weekend, when relaxation is the ultimate goal, this visually-stunning sci-fi adventure provides an entertaining escape. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen
