In 2012, Judd Apatow wrote and directed his most personal movie yet – a semi-sequel to Knocked Up, starring Paul Rudd and Apatow’s real-life wife, Leslie Mann, as a couple with kids, and getting older and more responsible despite their hopes to do otherwise. The Apatow-Mann couple’s daughters, Maude and Iris, are in the movie, too, playing young Sadie and Charlotte, respectively.

This 1950 film noir classic stars Peggy Cummins as Annie Starr, a disturbingly modern dame, or moll: a woman who likes not only guns – something she shares with John Dall’s character of Barton – but the violence and danger that ofteb comes with them. In case you missed it earlier this week: Here’s a repeat of one of this season’s few new dramas worth sampling. SERIES PREMIERE: On the surface, it sounds like a recipe mixing oil and water: the short-tempered, sharp-tongued Gordon Ramsay mentoring and judging a bunch of kids, ages 8 to 13, and putting them through their paces in the kitchen...
