SERIES PREMIERE: Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini star in this new Netflix series about women of very different temperaments who meet at a grief therapy session. What could be a predictable odd couple bonding comedy is anything but – and series creator Liz Feldman, showing off much more creativity and artistry than in her 2 Broke Girls CBS sitcom, keeps the surprises coming. The actresses are wonderful, the twists and turns excitingly unsettling. You’ll know by the end of the first episode whether this is the show for you. I’m guessing it is.
