KILLING EVE
April 7, 2019  | By David Bianculli

BBC America, 9:00 p.m. ET

SEASON PREMIERE: The momentum on this returning series is so sizable, BBC America is sharing the wealth, and AMC is simulcasting the Season 2 premiere to maximize the audience. Killing Eve was one of last year’s best TV shows, and most unexpectedly twisted and entertaining surprises. Based on the Season 2 premiere, the only thing that’s changed is the element of surprise: We now know this is one of TV’s most enjoyable and well-acted shows, and it doesn’t disappoint. And unlike many shows, which begin new seasons with a significant time jump, Killing Eve begins precisely where last season ended – with Eve shockingly stabbing Villanelle, who fled to avoid capture. Tonight, Villanelle hopes to avoid dying as well. Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer star. For a full review, see David Hinckley's All Along the Watchtower
