Tonight is the new episode that had me so thrilled about this new season of Billions. Wendy and Chuck have to face a ruthless political rival, who threatens to reveal embarrassing information about their private lives (his S&M predilections, and her complicit role-playing as his dominant: usually, when a married politician has a mistress, she and the wife are different people). Their reactions to this threat are not united – which leads to the most friction ever displayed in their marriage to date. Terrific acting by both Paul Giamatti and Maggie Siff.
