PLANET EARTH: DYNASTIES
February 16, 2019  | By David Bianculli

BBC America, 9:00 p.m. ET

Tonight on Dynasties, it’s a group of animals that always brings out feelings of identification in nature documentaries: the loyal, loving, intensely dedicated family of arctic creatures known as the “Emperor Penguins” – the title of tonight’s episode. And remember: each new episode of Dynasties, in addition to premiering in the U.S. on BBC America, is simulcast by AMC, IFC and Sundance. Also remember: a group of penguins in the water is called a raft, while a group of penguins on land is called a waddle. See also: rookery, huddle, and colony.
