SEASON FINALE: My favorite current TV comedy has been known to shake things up with its season finales, and tonight’s Season 3 closer should be no exception. Not that you can tell from NBC’s official synopsis, which is playfully vague, even by Twin Peaks plot description standards. Though last week set up a replication experiment with the entirety of the afterlife hanging in the balance, tonight’s episode, called “Pandemonium,” is described only as follows: “Various events occur, in a certain specific order.” One fate is gloriously clear: The Good Place has been renewed for Season 4.
