AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF: INDIANAPOLIS COLTS vs. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
January 12, 2019  | By David Bianculli

NBC, 4:30 p.m. ET

The Kansas City Chiefs are the top seed in the AFC, and have home-field advantage. Unfortunately, for this key divisional playoff against the Indianapolis Colts, the weather forecast is for up to six inches of snow to fall before game time. The game itself is predicted to be less bombarded by snow, but there will be bombardment from the skies regardless. Chiefs QB sensation Patrick Mahomes had more than 5,000 yards passing during the regular season, and Colts QB Andrew Luck had more than 4,500. The Chiefs were the top-ranked offense in the NFL, but ranked only 31st on defense – so a shootout, and a high-scoring, swiftly played game is likely, snow or no snow.
