MIDSEASON PREMIERE: Shuffling the deck – or mixing and matching various sets of characters to explore how they interact together – always has been this sitcom’s not-so-secret weapon. In this midseason return, passing the halfway point of this durable show’s final season, the gang divides into teams of two to play one another in a typically competitive paintball game. Except this time, only one couple, Sheldon and Amy, pairs off together. For the rest, it’s a chance to play well with others. Or, I’m guessing, not so well…
