THE LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL

AMC, 9:00 p.m. ET

MINISERIES PREMIERE: Conclusion. The final two hours of this new adaptation of the John Le Carre novel are televised tonight – and they end with a quiet, sustained tension that will have you glued to your seats, and your TV set. Florence Pugh stars as a British actress recruited by some Israeli spies (Alexander Skarsgard, Michael Shannon) to infiltrate a Palestinian terrorist cell.  For my full review on NPR’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross, visit the Fresh Air website.

This confirms it, I have an entire genre of shows to watch now, namely the spy film genre. I first watched The Night Manager and then The Bureau (originally on Sundance Now) and now this and I'm in; hook, line and sinker. One night left to go for The Little Drummer Girl.
