SEASON PREMIERE: This is Season 3 of Amazon’s ambitious adaptation of the Philip K. Dick novel, and this year, the show’s alternative history drama is all over the map. Literally. Japan has achieved parity with Germany, the other victor in this reality-warping outcome to WWII, by developing a more powerful bomb. The Nazis have used firing squads, torture and propaganda to further their message and aims in this dour season opener – and in the program, a solo child’s voice singing “Tomorrow Belongs to Me” is no less chilling than the version of “Edelweiss” heard in the show’s still-unsettling opening credits. For a full review, see David Hinckley's  All Along the Watchtower.
