This is the second episode of Season 2 of The Sinner, which has established itself as a sort of anthology series. Bill Pullman is still around as Det. Harry Ambrose, returning to his home town to investigate the case of a young boy who may have murdered his parents. But new supporting players have been added for this new season, including one worth getting really excited about: Carrie Coon (pictured), who added so much to both HBO’s The Leftovers and Season 3 of FX’s Fargo.
