Last week was a tough week for the show’s women. One of them, the porn star specializing in rape-fantasy videos, became the first female victim of the “Jennifer” killer. Another, glamorous magazine editor Kitty (Julianna Margulies), had her power and title wrested from her by her disapproving male boss. And the protagonist of Dietland, Plum (Joy Nash), ended the episode being dumped, punched, and betrayed – and very, very angry, setting the scene for tonight’s episode to have her on full boil.
