Netflix, 3:00 a.m. ET

SERIES PREMIERE: Prisoners of War is an Israeli series, shown in Israel in 2010 and 2012, that was (very freely) adapted into the still-running Showtime series Homeland. This newer Israeli-made series, billed as a Netflix original and produced in 2015, is no less timely because of its delay in arriving here. It looks at the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from both sides: from the point of view of the commander of an Israeli special forces unit, and from one of his main targets, a Palestinian Hamas leader of the Jihad against Israel. The series arrives dubbed in some scenes, subtitled in others, but begins strongly and keeps that momentum – and its relevancy – going without a break.

Let me guess...most people (liberal-left wing-progressives) on here are rooting for the Palestinian terrorists and against the State of Israel
