Thursday nights in May, on TCM this month, belong to Marlene Dietrich, and tonight is an evening of some of her lesser earlier films, with one significant exception: At 10 p.m. ET, TCM presents 1935’s The Devil Is a Woman, directed by Josef von Sternberg, who always captured Dietrich at her most luminous and mysterious.
