TCM is devoting tonight’s schedule to biblical films, too, and begins the evening with this 1965 epic about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Max von Sydow, who later wielded a crucifix in The Exorcist, stars as Jesus – and David McCallum (pictured), at this point already famous as Illya Kuryakin on The Man from U.N.C.L.E., plays Judas Iscariot.
