October 14, 2017  | By David Bianculli

Fox, 4:00 p.m. ET

The Houston Astros beat the New York Yankees in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series, in a game that included an exciting play where Yankee first baseman Greg Bird, trying to score from second base on teammate Aaron Judge’s two-out single, was thrown out at home by Astros left fielder Marwin Gonzalez.
