BIGGIE: THE LIFE OF THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.

DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE: If you’re not at all into rap music, then this new A&E documentary is no B.I.G. deal. And if you prefer your documentaries to be more objective than reverential, then this music-filled biography, like the recent HBO documentary on Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, may disappoint more than impress. But, like that recent HBO effort, Biggie: The Life of the Notorious B.I.G. is full of colorful and surprising stories. It paints the life of Christopher Wallace as one full of luck, risk, talent, and bravado, and with some still unsolved and puzzling mysteries.
