It's annoying, cutting away from the acts, some of which are quite good. It's the same for the show World of Dance, which seems to be about Jennifer Lopez as much as it is about the dancers. I was imagining Ed Sullivan introducing the Beatles and the camera cutting away from them to show his "reactions". A funny thought, but boy am I a glad that never happened.
