THE STORY OF CHINA
June 20, 2017  | By David Bianculli  | 1 comment

PBS, 8:00 p.m. ET

Historian Michael Wood tells the story of China, modern and ancient, in this new PBS special. Perhaps he’ll reveal, finally, the little-known, seldom-mentioned, cost-conscious architectural plans for the original, less impressive Pretty Good Wall of China. Check local listings.

Will historian Michael Woods tell the story of the Chinese Civil War (1936-1950) or The Great Leap Forward (1958-1962) or The Cultural Revolution (1966-1976)... when Millions of Chinese citizens were killed-murdered by the ruling Communist Party...? (many here in the USA being progressives-socialists would luv to follow the Chinese model...)
