Episode 5. This series, for example, hasn’t proven itself either way as yet. After four hours, I still don’t have a grasp, or a firm opinion of, this revisitation of the Twin Peaks songbook. There are individual scenes that work, but there are others that are just… there. Tonight, perhaps, the plot lines will advance, and the character of Dale Cooper will begin acting like – well, like the character of Dale Cooper, rather than either a longer-haired Michael Madsen or an almost speechless Chauncey Gardener.
