The Run for the Roses will feature horses running for the coveted flowery necklace for the 143rd time. Well, not the same horses, of course. I’m simply referring to this event, from Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY, as being a long-standing and beloved tradition in the world of horse racing. A horse is a horse, of course, of course – but no horse can run for that long, of course… That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Never Dead...
