SERIES PREMIERE: All 13 episodes of this first season of Julie’s Greenroom, a new children’s series starring Julie Andrews in collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, are presented today on Netflix, the producing entity for this preschool series about theater. Andrews mentors a quintet of puppet youngsters making their first foray into community theater, with guest stars such as Idina Menzel, Alec Baldwin and David Hyde Pierce dropping by to offer advice. And the musical on which they collaborate turns out to be especially relevant – it’s about support for the performing arts.
