I’m not sure the original 60 Minutes executive producer, Don Hewitt, would have approved this, but tonight 60 Minutes presents an abbreviated version, devoted entirely to profiles of, and interviews with, three artists to figure prominently at tonight’s Grammys – also televised by CBS. The artists are Beyoncé, Adele, and Bruno Mars. And tonight’s 60 Minutes, to make room for a Grammys pre-show special, will be only 30 Minutes. But who’s counting?
