THE OBAMA YEARS WITH BRIAN WILLIAMS
January 16, 2017  | By David Bianculli  | 2 comments

MSNBC, 11:00 p.m. ET

Tonight on MSNBC, we have an intimate interview special, spending time with a man who is striving to demonstrate how to maintain dignity while losing the power that once made him so prominent and influential. Oh, and President Barack Obama, in the last week of his presidency, is here, too – interviewed by former NBC News anchor, and now MSNBC mainstay, Brian Williams.

With all the retrospectives on the Obama years, this one made me cry, smile, recall the 24/7 campaigning, burst pride-wise, grateful to have lived this time of iconic President, Barack Obama. We ALL got older, Brian, POTUS, me, among so many others, bittersweet era. Thank you for an even handed look back as we look forward to having the Obamas among us for decades to come
