This week’s report gives new meaning to the term “get the lead out”: Nick Koenig, one of the surviving victims of a deadly home invasion in St. Louis in 2009, has been carrying around a bullet from that frightening night, lodged in the base of his skull and considered inoperable. Last month, Keonig was in a car accident – after which he coughed up something irritating in his throat, which turned out to be that bullet.
