2003: HBO Introduces 'Real Time with Bill Maher'
February 21, 2021  | By TV WW  | 2 comments

On this day in 2003, HBO debuted the weekly, live political talker, Real Time with Bill Maher. The cable series followed the 2002 cancellation of Maher's ABC series, Politically Incorrect (which originally debuted on Comedy Central).

The series features a panel of politically-savvy guests — including politicians, journalists, professors and pundits — discussing current news and events, as well as a Maher monologue and one-on-one interviews with newsmakers.

One of the few tv stars to donate big bucks to a politician,Mr.Obama and keep his reputation for not being a butt kisser. He should let his guests talk a bit more though and not tell us we need to lose weight and shape up so often!

So long ago--- yet he was bounced from Pol. Incorrect for saying that the hijackers who flew the planes had courage... (he didn't mean they were right---just that it took guts)---
To think that the wars have gone on this long---
And they are no longer even discussed on his show...
