2000: Mary and Rhoda Reunite in an ABC TV Movie

On this day in 2000, Mary Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper reprised their roles from the '70s sitcom, The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

In the film, newly-widowed Mary Richards-Cronin returns to New York and reunites with old friend (and divorcee) Rhoda Morgenstern-Rousseau. Together they acclimate to being single mothers of college-age daughters (Joie Lenz as Rose Cronin and Marisa Ryan as Meredith Rousseau.)
