Nothing Compares 2 Prince and the Muppets
The shocking and sudden death of the monumentally talented Prince on April 21 has clearly created great sadness, but it has also brought about an abundance of memories. One of our favorites is his appearance on Muppets Tonight. The short-lived show was lucky enough to snare Prince (or, as he was known then, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince) for an episode that includes his appearance in a “cornfield,” as well as a performance with some special friends – including one that looks remarkably familiar. The Artist creates his usual magic, especially among a muppet ensemble. Such a lovely and endearing way to spotlight the multi-faceted and multi-talented music legend. – Linda Donovan
