Making Pop Out of Op-Art
June 27, 2014  | By Eric Gould

The band OK Go has a reputation for creating amazing single-take productions for their music videos. They had a rocking synchronized treadmill dance piece for their Grammy-winning video "Here it Goes Again" in 2007. Now, they've outdone themselves with this stunning one-shot choreographed adventure for their new video "The Writing's on the Wall." It plays with all sorts of depth perception and optical illusions. Rumors have it at 50 takes to get it just right. "The Writing's on the Wall" video has been up just a week and is already clocking over 8 million hits on YouTube. Watch and then remove your jaw from your desk. –Eric Gould
