"Homemade Highlights" of the Summer Games from The Wall Street Journal

NBC's exclusive rights to the 2012 Olympics, for which it paid a bit over a billion dollars, hasn't stopped rival media outlets from presenting their own views of the Summer Games.  The Wall Street Journal stands atop the medal stand with its daily "Homemade Highlights." Brilliant, as the British are fond of saying. Here's a capsule look at Thursday's big moments, topped by U.S. gymnast Gabby Douglas' first place finish in the all-around individual competition.
