June 7, 2013  | By Christy Slewinski  | 6 comments

Friday, June 7 is premiere day for a new web-based drama, Paloma, written and directed by actress Julia Stiles and starring Grace Gummer — sister of Mamie Gummer, daugher of Meryl Streep — who was most recently seen guest-starring on NBC's Smash. The four-episode series is the latest roll-out from WIGS, a YouTube channel specializing in scripted drama featuring strong female leads. Jennifer Beals, Jennifer Garner, America Ferrara, Rosanna Arquette, Alison Pill, Jena Malone and Catherine O'Hara are among the actresses featured in WIGS series.

I had been waiting quite the while now for the release of this new paloma series, and I'm glad that it's finally here. I can't exactly remember the official site that led me to find out about this particular series though. I'm very curious to know what the site is though.

Shallow and boring. No woman in her right mind would continue a conversation with a guy, no matter how handsome, after his asked her about her current status. He is a creep and hopefully she's a professional assassin or agent operative about to bust his chops! This was written by Julia Stiles? Oy, Julia!
