CHEERS: THE COMPLETE SERIES
April 21, 2013  | By David Bianculli  | 4 comments

The amazing spirit of Boston, in the wake of the capture of the second Marathon bombing suspect, is what made me think of this series at this moment. But at any time, the complete collection of this classic 1982-1993 NBC series is worth owning, watching and treasuring.  John Ratzenberger’s Cliff Clavin, all by himself, represents Boston perfectly in both accent and attitude. And the rest of it – well, some of the best sitcom acting, and writing, and timing, can be found right here, from the first appearance of Ted Danson and Shelley Long as Sam and Diane to the finale, when another classic TV show turns out the lights. – DB

This is a good subject to talk about. Sometimes I fav stuff like this on Redit. This article probably wont do well with that crowd. I will be sure to submit something else though.
