Last night’s Game 1 was an epic start to the 2015 World Series – and “epic” is no exaggeration. Clocking in at over five hours (thanks to a technical delay, a rain delay and several innings of extra play), it was the second-longest game in Series history. It also was a very tense game, with leads and fortunes changing from inning to inning – and with four scoreless extra innings until, in the 14th inning, the Kansas City Royals scored with a sacrifice fly to win the game, 5-4.
