THE STING

TCM, 8:00 p.m. ET

One of my favorite movies. This 1973 film, starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford, does everything with style. The music, the photography, the plot, the twists – everything’s perfect. And on TCM it’s uninterrupted, and shown in the proper widescreen ratio. Enjoy. It’s pretty much impossible not to.

It's a classic! And you are SO right: every aspect, from the plot to the music, is absolutely superb. I actually enjoyed and admired it even more more than when it was first released because most films made in the 40+ years since pale by comparison in at least some respect.
