Fargo, the FX crime anthology series inspired by the Coen Brothers’ movie, did a wonderful job its first season of capturing and carrying on the spirit of that film – and did an even better job the second season. That makes it a fine time to revisit the original article, especially since this movie, believe it or not, is now 20 years old. Frances McDormand, William H. Macy star.
