RESIDENT ALIEN

This is a half-hearted recommendation at best. Resident Alien hasn’t disappointed me so far, but Resident Alien is more of a sci-fi confection – a pleasant diversion – than a piece of TV around which to build your TV evening. (As opposed to two of star Alan Tudyk’s previous genre series, Firefly and Dollhouse, both of which were unquestionably TV Worth Watching.) But on a day when there’s really not much else new that’s worth your time, here it is, a new Resident Alien. And tonight, the outer-space alien in human disguise gets a chance to experience a very human close encounter: sex.
