This 2017 movie, written and directed by Jordan Peele, is fabulous. Peele is as smart about the horror in this film as he is about the humor, and both of them really, really land. And the performances – wow. Daniel Kaluuya is great as the guy who begins to suspect all is not as it seems regarding his girlfriend’s family and their friends. And Allison Williams as the girlfriend, Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford as her parents, and Stephen Root as one of their friends – again, wow. Watch tonight. Bring a teacup and teaspoon.
