In HBO’s Entourage, one of the running gags of that movie came when the show’s hot young movie star was cast as the lead in a superhero action film – but it was Aquaman. Cut to years later, and Hollywood actually got around to making an actual movie based on that waterlogged DC Comics character. And this is it: Made in 2018, it stars Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones – another HBO series, by the way – as the title character. Amber Heard co-stars as Mera, the sea queen.
