THE GOOD FIGHT
June 30, 2019  | By David Bianculli  | 1 comment

CBS, 10:00 p.m. ET

CBS has been doubling up on its broadcast TV showings of its CBS All Access series The Good Fight, but tonight the telecasts begin being pared back to single doses, at the later hour of 10 p.m. ET. So if you’re watching here on CBS, this is the new time to watch. But I’d suggest getting the DVD, or subscribe to All Access, before watching these cut-down versions. Even so, Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo and company are indeed worth the time – even if they and their Good Fight episodes get less time on CBS than elsewhere.

You can purchase The Good Fight on Amazon Prime by episode or season. I I did not have a positive experience trying to use CBS All Access and no one was able to figure out why it would now allow me to watch the series even though I was logged on to the site. Also I started getting bombarded with ads from CBS All Access within hours of signing up. I could not find a way to unsubscribe so I marked them as spam.

Thank you for saving me the trouble. I could not cope with the Broadcast on-Demand version as they make it impossible to interrupt, then pick up the story. It must be restarted, in full, with ads. No fast forward. I have lots of partial watches.
I had considered a short AllAccess. But even that--
I just think I heard NBC is rolling out a similar design....
