This season of Parenthood seems devoted to shaking up the status quo, and putting formerly solid relationships under a brighter spotlight, and exposing formerly unseen stresses. Zeke and Camille, the patriarch and matriarch of this extended clan, have gone through a rough patch of their own – and now, just as they seem to be regaining their balance, another disruption bubbles to the surface. That bubble comes in the form of Crosby and Jasmine, who show up suddenly and ask to temporarily move in. Meanwhile, Julia’s marriage is in separation mode, and Joel, too, is on the move – moving out – while Julia seeks comfort from her siblings.
