PARENTHOOD

NBC, 10:00 p.m. ET

As always, a lot is going on in this show, where there are significant developments on the work front (at the recording studio, seen in photo) and on the personal front. Especially the personal front – where there’s a new pregnancy to confront.

Was glad to see Parenthood on your top 10 list (as heard on Fresh Air). I've watched this show from the beginning, and it reminded me immediately of another favorite "show about nothing/everything", thirty-something. Both use music very effectively. And I must say that the addition of Ray Romano to the cast has been kind of perfect. He and Lauren Graham have palpable onscreen chemistry. Gotta believe a lot of their scenes contain a lot of improv from off the cutting room floor.

I'm beginning to wonder, though, if it's in the production contract that there has to be at least one pregnant character on the show at all times. My money's on Crosby next.
