THE GOOD WIFE
March 23, 2014  | By David Bianculli  | 2 comments

CBS, 9:00 p.m. ET

This late-season story line, about a resurfacing of the ballot-box-tampering issue, has been exciting to watch, especially since there have been so many twists, turns and frustrating dead ends. It seems that the trail of evidence is leading to Alan Cumming’s Eli Gold. But I’m rooting for him, and not just because I treasure the character of Eli. I also just saw Cumming last night in previews, reprising his role of the emcee in a Broadway re-revival of Cabaret, and loved it, and him, all over again.

Probably the best kept secret that I can remember in years. Great episode.

Well, last night's episode of The Good Wife was certainly a shocker.
