ENOUGH SAID
June 7, 2014  | By David Bianculli

HBO, 8:00 p.m. ET

One of the last films James Gandolfini made before he died was this 2013 romantic comedy-drama, which co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a divorced woman who starts dating a genial man (Gandolfini) only to discover he’s the ex-husband of her new close friend (Catherine Keener). This movie combines two franchise HBO stars – Gandolfini from The Sopranos, Louis-Dreyfus from the current Veep – and showcases them beautifully. It’s another reminder of what a fabulous actor we lost when Gandolfini died so young – as though we needed one.
