A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Here’s a classic version of a classic: Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge, in this 1951 adaptation of the Dickens story. This one manages to be scarier than most, and Sim’s performance is wonderful.

The best version, in my opinion. Very faithful to the story and Sim's slightly wacky persona is perfect for Scrooge. Less sentimental, but more touching than other versions. Known as "Scrooge", if you haven't seen this version, please take the time to watch...you'll love it!
