SEASON PREMIERE: Season 2 of this offbeat comedy series, starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant as a suburban couple with very unusual marital issues, rolls out today, with last season’s twist now firmly established as part of this couple’s status quo: She’s a “functioning” zombie, and he’s trying to cope.

MOVIE PREMIERE: This sounds like a slacker version of Die Hard, with a trio of video game developers turned into unexpected heroes when their hotel is overrun by terrorist villains. Adam DeVine stars.
Hulu, 3:00 a.m. ET
DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE: In 2005, March of the Penguins, telling of the migratory and sexual drives of penguins, was a surprise hit, and solidified Morgan Freeman as one of cinema’s (and television’s) most in-demand narrators. More than a decade later, this sequel arrives, following the path of a new young penguin. This new film, directed by Luc Jacquet, was released last year under the title L’empereur.

The Sweet 16 phase of this year’s tournament continues tonight, and with the less shocking half of the overall bracket. The East and Midwest teams play tonight, in games televised by either CBS or TBS. Unlike in the left side of the bracket, tonight’s games include the two No. 1 seeds, which are still playing at this point. East No. 1 seed Villanova plays No. 5 West Virginia at 7:20 p.m. ET on TBS, while Midwest No. 1 seed Kansas plays No. 5 Clemson at 7 p.m. ET on CBS. But the most enticing game of all tonight? At 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS, Midwest No. 2 seed Duke plays No. 11 seed Villanova, the only double-digit seed left standing, and playing, on this half of the tournament bracket.
ABC, 9:01 p.m. ET
In tonight’s episode, the S.H.I.E.L.D. gang faces threats that seem oddly familiar — perhaps because one of their adversaries may or may not be a shapeshifter.
BBC America, 10:00 p.m. ET
Tonight’s installment has a special theme and title. It’s called “The Good Guest Guide.” But for me, on this show, the secret to having a good guest is Graham Norton, because when you have a Good Host, the rest is easy, and, as on this show, comes easily.
HBO, 10:00 p.m. ET
Tonight’s scheduled guests include New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes (both of whom have books to promote), and others, including former EPA administrator Gina McCarthy.
