I haven’t seen a preview of this show – but since Fox is the official network showing the Super Bowl this year, I’m very curious about how this special intends to handle the most infamous Super Bowl halftime show of all. Well, maybe “handle” is the wrong word. But will this Fox special be sufficiently fair and balanced to recount the furor surrounding Janet Jackson’s unexpected unveiling at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004? Or, since CBS got in so much trouble for broadcasting the original, will Fox’s Super Bowl’s Greatest Halftime Shows be reluctant to take a controversial trip down mammary lane?

THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER'S WAR

HBO, 8:00 p.m. ET

This 2016 prequel to the Snow White story told in 2012’s Snow White and the Huntsman reunites Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and Charlize Theron as Ravenna, but adds other powerful actresses and characters to the mix: Jessica Chastain as Sara and Emily Blunt as Queen Freya. Still, it’s the astonishing visuals of director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who did both the Huntsman movies as well as 2002’s scary and creepy The Ring, that rally make this particular fairy-tale world worth revisiting.

THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW

BBC America, 10:00 p.m. ET

Tonight’s new show features a Trainspotting reunion, just in time for the sequel's release. Guests include director Danny Boyle and star Ewan McGregor – and they’ll talk about why they didn’t talk, at least to each other, for about a decade.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

NBC, 11:29 p.m. ET

Tonight’s guest star is Kristen Stewart (who, coincidentally, starred as Snow White in the first Huntsman movie). Musical guest: Alessia Cara.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD

Syfy, 11:42 p.m. ET

George Romero’s 1968 zombie movie was filmed in Western Pennsylvania with a total budget of $114,000. Yet look at it now, nearly 50 years later, and it’s impossible to overstate its influence on the horror genre in general, the zombie genre in particular – and The Walking Dead in almost plagiaristic homage.
