Twitter? Aieee! You are lost to us! LOL! Facebook I can handle, but Twitter? Well, it's not for everybody.

(Funny -- I haven't done Facebook, for the same "Aieee" reaction. Even funnier: Your subtle LOL joke. Made me, well, laugh out loud.

But Twitter, I thought, I could use to say something new, and fast, about each day's very best television offering.

I know, it's not what I had for breakfast, but it could be fun, and a fast reminder of something to watch or record. And I think I've come up with a name for it: Today's TV Tweets.... because I love puns.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, you heard it here first: Poppy-seed bagel. Light cream cheese. Onions, capers, smoked salmon, coffee with lowfat milk. Stop the presses... -- David B.)

Glad you highlighted "O' Brother Where Art Thou" as it is one of those rare movies where you can drop in at any point and stay hooked to it.

I believe a lot of this has to do with the performance of Tim Blake Nelson as "Delmar", a character that compels you to listen to every syllable he mutters akin to the great Barry Fitzgerald's "Michaleen Oge Flynn" in "The Quiet Man".

My favorite line? Delmar to John Turturro's "Pete" in the theater in what was hardly a 'stage whisper'......

"...we thought you wuz a tao-oad.....".

Great movie...looking forward to the SB book, good luck this weekend, you can do it.....

You are soooooooo messing with my Friday nights now that you are mentioning Bill Moyers as must watch TV.... I was thinking I'd skip a Friday or two so that I could go to my friend's "front porch Friday" but ever since that thought slipped into my head, you've mentioned Bill Moyers here! So I will not skip him! Oh if only PBS would repeat him throughout the week somewhere...or maybe I should get a TIVO?

Good to see you on Twitter. I have started following you. I noticed you are only following your daughter. If you like puns you should really follow NYT columnist David Pogue @Pogue as he usually retweets the best he sees. I am prejudiced because he retweeted my pun:

don't know anything about twitter? In fact, I bought a sony walkman cd player at a garage sale for 50 cents and when I walked into the door and my kids saw it, you would have thought I'd carried in a skunk carcass.
